누가복음의 '결혼'

whereas for Plato marriage(=procreation) means the overcoming of death and a way to immortality, in the Lukan text it is death that necessitates marriage and resurrection or (personal) immorality that makes it superfluous.....

플라톤에게 결혼은 죽음을 극복하고 불멸로 가는 길을 의미하는 반면, 누가 텍스트에서는 결혼을 필요로 하는 것은 죽음이며 (따라서) 부활 혹은 (개인적) 불멸에게 결혼은 군더더기일 뿐이다.

Since resurrection and personal immortality mean that procreation is no longer necessary in order to suvive death, the patriarchal marriage as the legitimate framework for procreation is rendered superfluous for those who are found worthy to attain to the ressurection. The criticism of marriage in Luke is not due to pragmatism but is the expression of an eschatologically-determeined ascetic reservation.

부활과 개인적 불멸은 죽음에서 살아남기 위한 출산이 더 이상 필요치 않다는 것을 의미하며 출산을 위한 합법적 틀거리로써의 결혼은 부활을 얻을 자격이 있다고 여겨지는 사람들에게는 군더더기(낭비)다. 누가복음에서 결혼에 대한 비판은 실용주의적이라기 보다는 종말론적으로 결정된 금욕적 유보의 표현이다.
